They brilliantly point out that one of the most powerful tools in modern discussions is to use vague language to insinuate what you cannot prove with evidence . They point out that a Brookings Institute study showed that if the World Bank’s definition for poverty worldwide was used for the United States, the US poverty rate would be zero.
